Blocking It In - original acrylic on canvas - 12" x 16"

"Blocking It In" is a bold geometric abstract painting, created in acrylic on canvas and measuring 12" x 16" (30cm x 40cm). The painting started life as a canvas divided into a grid of 1cm squares and blocks of different shapes and sizes were coloured in one colour at a time.

The overall effect reminds me of the old video game "Tetris" but with far more random shapes. It is a colourful piece of wall art in predominantly reds, blues and greens.
