Sunrise - original acrylic and collage on board - 13.25" x 21"

Sunrise is a unique artwork made up of a collage of coloured strips of mount board creating an abstract design of the sun in a blue sky. 

Collage on board created in 2019 and measuring 13.25" x 21" (33.5cm x 53cm).

Sunrise comes complete with hanging hardware installed and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Sunrise was created by painting mount board in assorted blues and reds/oranges/yellows. This mount board was then passed through a standard office document shredder to create coloured strips. These strips were then hand cut and assembled to create the orange circle and blue background. A gloss varnish was the applied to protect the paint surface and make the colours pop.
