Rhapsody in Blue and Gold - original artwork by James Knights

A geometric abstract artwork in copper-gold, blue, white and black.

Acrylic on canvas board. 

Painted February 2022.

Measuring 50.8cm x 61.0cm and supplied unframed so that you can choose a frame to suit your decor and other artwork. This artwork will fit standard 20 x 24 inch frames.

This artwork was made by painting the board with copper and gold acrylic paint. Masking tape was applied and then the dark blue layer was painted. A further layer of tape was applied before the light blue layer was applied using various light blues and bubble wrap. A final layer of tape was then applied and stencils were used to apply the honeycomb effect in black and white.
