The State of the Nation by James Knights (Original Artwork)

Original artwork measuring 300mm x 400mm, collage and acrylic on canvas board.

The State of The Nation was created using a collage of newspaper articles from the time (Jan - Feb 2019) which really summed up what was important to people in the UK according to the popular press. This was overlaid with sprayed and flicked paint in a number of layers of different colours with the final addition being the screaming head!
